Off Chequesset Neck Road and the Gut

Take Main Street to Commercial Street to Kendrick to Chequesett Neck. Follow Chequesett to the Great Island parking lot approximately 3 1/2 miles from Route 6. You can also access a trailhead and proceed towards Great Island across a small strip of sand called The Gut. There are no amenities. Bring water. This is very remote and great beach for those who desire privacy. Round trip to Jeremy Point is 6 miles.
