Ocean Beaches :: Newcomb Hollow

Take Route 6 to Gross Hill, Cahoon Hollow, or Gull Pond Road until you reach Ocean View Drive, and take a left till the end till you reach the largest beach parking lot. This beach is great for children and has lifeguards, concessions, restrooms. Beach sticker required. You can always get in. Walk for miles towards Truro. Up the beach on the left over the dunes is a fresh water pond. It is the only fresh water pond I know of that while you are swimming you can hear the crashing of the ocean surf. Remarkable but don’t disturb the private property owners.
